Experience Chevelle's journey from their humble beginnings in Grayslake, Illinois, to becoming one of rock's most iconic bands. Brothers Pete and Sam Loeffler started playing music together, drawing inspiration from their musically adept family. They formed Chevelle with bassist Matt Scott, later joined by their younger brother Joe, whose talent quickly became undeniable.

Initially labeled as a Christian band due to their record label's affiliations, Chevelle pushed back against this stereotype, focusing instead on their unique sound. Their second album, "Wonder What's Next," propelled them to stardom with hits like "The Red" and "Send The Pain Below," solidifying their place in the rock scene.

Despite lineup changes and industry challenges, Chevelle continued to innovate, delivering albums like "Vena Sera" and "Sci-Fi Crimes," showcasing their raw, unapologetic sound. Their dedication to their craft and refusal to conform to industry norms set them apart, earning them a dedicated fan base.

With new music on the horizon and a legacy of powerful, introspective rock, Chevelle remains a force to be reckoned with. Stay tuned for updates on their upcoming album and join the journey of one of rock's most enduring bands.

I can't believe there was no mention of "I get it" from the Vena Sera album, one of their best sings IMO.

About a year and a half ago on the way back from Chicago to Texas saw these guys on our flight. After the flight they were hanging out a bit by the gate so I thanked them for making awesome music and was gonna be on my way. They struck up an entire conversation with us and were asking lots of questions and even remembered the venue in our city! Really nice dudes.

Pete looks like every 90's teenage rom-com actor fused into one.

Chevelle is my favourite band since Wonder What's Next. After getting exhausted with the exposure Linkin Park had during the early 2000s, Chevelle came around and they became a breath of fresh air. Since then, I never missed out on a new Chevelle album. Also, knowing that they are gearheads and naming the band after my favourite muscle car is so cool.

Wow. Chevelle is one of my favorite bands but I actually knew very little about them. So awesome to hear they're still going strong and I hope to catch them live one day.

I was lucky enough to meet Pete and Joe, when he was in the band in 2002 and 2004. They stopped in to do an interview at 102.1 The Edge in Toronto and I met them in 2002, when they opened for Stone Sour and in 2004, when they were doing promo for This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In). When I met them in 2004, they remembered me from when I had met them in 2002 and Pete actually let me know the last 3 songs on This Type Of Thinking, as they weren't listed on the CD, when someone read the song titles out to me. Also, I had mentioned the Tool comparison to Pete in 2002 and he didn't seem to mind all that much. I even talked about the guitar tunings from album to album and I wonder if that may have made me stand out to them, besides the fact that I am blind and kinda small.

I’ve only recently discovered Chevelle. Last year, I heard First to Eleven cover The Red and decided to check out the original, then the album, and I loved it. I listened to La Gargola only days ago. Still got a lot to listen to but glad I discovered them, and had to watch this video when I came across it.

Chevelle is fantastic. One of the best live shows Ive ever been to. No pyro,no huge stage no frills, just killed it from start to finish. Hell,Pete played the show in a hoodie. Great vocalist,IMO.

Roswell's Spell is one of my favorite songs. Chevelle has been consistently good since Point #1. NIRATIAS (2021, I think) is one of their best albums and (i'd imagine, at least) wholly underrated. Great live band as well. Not much bad to say about these guys. They rock.

Thank you so much for covering one of my longest awaited suggestions of this channel. Very Underrated Band of the 2000s and when I heard their 2002 Album Wonder What's Next, I was Pumped! Their Discography is really amazing! Even Point No. 1 has bangers like MIA. Once Again, Thank you so much for covering the history of my favourite band.

I saw them open for breaking Benjamin in 2019. I’d never heard of them beforehand and by the time bb came on stage. I was more impressed with Chevelle. Unbelievable live band 25 years into their career too
