If you want more songs about appreciating friends by Maisie, you have to check out Personal Best, she wrote it about her friends, especially her sister and ut just makes me want to cry ever since i found out about it

I found your take on "Villain" interesting though. While I loved Maisie's approach of "why yes I will burn down your house", I also think it had a deeper meaning. It's about maturing and coming to the realisation that you are not the hero in every story. That in this instance, you are not the martyr. You are the barrier to their happiness. It felt like an older perspective of "John Hughes Movie" and I am so here for it.

I know I'm late but essentially Brooklyn is a song about her and her twib sister, ellen and the situations are stuff that's actually happened to them. That's who she refers to when she says "Ellen was right". Great video by the way it was so entertaining and Ms mazzie deserves so much recognitionnnn
