It's only April and I know this is likely to be a contender for my Spotify Wrapped top played of the year. What a tune. I have liked her stuff ever since I first heard her but watching her grow as an artist is so great - can't wait for the album in June.

I saw Maisie perform a last month when she was on tour with Ed Sheeran, and let me tell you, this girl put on one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. I've been obsessed with her for months, and seeing her live really just solidified everything I already thought about her. Maisie, you are the coolest, most badass chick I've ever seen, and I want you to know you inspire me so much. I see you singing, and I see the person I want to be. I know I'll never be the one on the stage, but watching you live your dreams is enough for me.

This era of Maisie reminds me so much of young Taylor Swift. I don't mean this in a 'comparing other women' way, I mean it in the excitement I felt with Taylor when she was releasing Fearless and Speak Now, and her work just got better and better and we all knew she was going to be turning into something really big 😍😍😍
