Just gotta say, I so appreciate the fact that you're human. You have a great voice, but the fact that it's you doing this and not AI is freaking awesome.

I feel so bad for the kid in the subway story. I can't imagine feeling that terrified and alone, especially as a child - and I hope their life has been peaceful since then. And yeah, I know it could be fake...but on the off-chance it isn't, that's so messed up.

I just wanna say I listen to alot (and I mean A LOT (over 1700 hours a year)) of creepy/true eerie story youtube videos/podcasts. And Lets Read is by far the best. It blows my mind how this guy isnt the most popular channel. The quality, video length. Consistent voice and pitch, the eerie music. I can go on and on. This guy deserves way more attention than he has.

41:52 You need to hire a lawyer. Not only a divorce lawyer, but one who can also sue the police for excessive force.

2:24:56 This tops all the problematic things this person has written so far. NO! Call the cops and let them figure out where the source of the noise is exactly, then close the window if you can't stand it, but this person made ALL the wrong choices. Not calling the cops, continuing to listen, talking to a neighbor to get some good gossip, purposefully ignoring the victim, and then taking away the lesson that next time in a similar situation, they would still not call the cops, but just close the window and pretend nothing is wrong. What an absolute lack of self-reflection and what an unbelievably strange conclusion to come to!

#2 in the 60's they didn't have central locks. In the 70's central locks we're only in very high-end vehicles.

52:10. Once when I was coming back from work in the late evening, I felt like I was being watched. I felt fear coming over me, but I couldn’t identify the source of danger. I still ran, better safe than sorry. It probably was a brain circuit issue, but I will never know.

The subway story brought back the memory of my 5 older siblings, much older, putting me in a rusty barrel and pushing me down a hill and landing in a pond. My parents heard me screaming and came running. I can't believe I forgot that. Thanks. Lol 😆

I call BS on train story attack. If they'd been ramming his head into the glass 6-12 times he'd have been knocked out or had brain damage.
