Congratulations and welcome to Düsseldorf. You made a great choice. I had already guessed so when you announced that you would be moving. With interesting international cities nearby, don't forget Antwerpen. But there is also so much to explore close-by. Hop on the S-Bahn and go to Wuppertal for a ride on the Schwebebahn. Or take your bikes up north to Kaiserswerth and then take the ferry across the Rhine to the beautiful market square of Lank-Latum for some excellent restaurants and good ice cream in summer. Glad to have you here! :-)
