i recently visited oland from the US for a couple of weeks and loved going to the ICA in lottorp to buy fresh produce, the vegetables, strawberries, and different flavored creme fraiche were my favorites. except this ICA had a hard time with my credit card since it doesnt have a pin number and i also didnt have a swedish passport! i just ended up taking out a bunch of cash to make it easier for the kassan. but swedish supermarkets are so fun! i miss a lot of the food i had there now that i am back home.

I spent three weeks in Sweden this summer and when I returned I was so so so sad to not have Fil in my fridge when I opened it in the morning. Big sigh and acceptance of the situation. I really loved the fil with muesli and/or kuddar and jam every breakfast...Tried to replicate it once I got home but no cigar... Thank you for your videos. I love them - I watch them during my lunch breaks!

Enjoyed the video! Supermarket is one of those words that always shows up in language courses, but it rarely used in the US. I don't know about the UK. I've lived in 9 different states in the US and don't know if I've ever heard someone say they were going to "the supermarket." As mentioned in this video, people usually just use the name of the store, or just "grocery store" or "I'm going to go grocery shopping." Another word is "cinema." My Dutch tutor seemed surprised when I told her nobody says they are going to "the cinema." Normally it's just "the movie theater" or simply "the movies."

Please please please never stop making videos. I'm half Swedish and i dream of living in the Swedish countryside working remotely. You're one of my favorite channels! With love, from California.
