Imagine the knowledge youâd have to have to get everything absolutely perfect. If that isnât mind blowing enough, now imagine the power youâd need to create it all. Itâs completely incomprehensible how great our God is. The human mind just doesnât have the capacity to understand it. âThe universe is so big there has to be other life out there.â I get that all the time from a lot of people. Just had a conversation about it earlier. My answer is always the same. Do I believe there are other life forms, aliens etc? No, I do not. The person then asked, donât you think thatâs a waste of space if we are alone? That we agree on. If it was just a home for you and me then Iâd say itâs a little oversized. BUT....what if itâs primary purpose wasnât just a home for you and me, but to show off the majesty and the knowledge and the power and the wonder of the God who created it all? Itâs not so much of a waste of space then. I think the How great thou art song nailed it the best. âThy power throughout the universe displayed.â Just my opinion...

I love learning more about our planet's place in the solar system and the universe. I enjoy documentaries like this because they give good insight on the earth's design and ability to sustain life. I also enjoyed learning about the relationship between the earth, moon, and sun; the way that the earth depends on the moon to help it take advantage of the sun's warmth and life-giving power. The moon's gravitational pull keeps the earth spinning so as to not expose only one side to the sun and another to the deep freeze of space. Cool stuff.

Sir Isaac had an accomplished artisan fashion for him a small scale model of our solar system, which was to be put in a room in Newton's home when completed.
The assignment was finished and installed on a large table. The workman had done a very commendable job, simulating not only the various sizes of the planets and their relative proximities, but also so constructing the model that everything rotated and orbited when a crank was turned.
It was an interesting, even fascinating work, as you can imagine, particularly to anyone schooled in the sciences.
Newton's atheist-scientist friend came by for a visit. Seeing the model, he was naturally intrigued, and proceeded to examine it with undisguised admiration for the high quality of the workmanship.
"My, what an exquisite thing this is!" he exclaimed. "Who made it?" Paying little attention to him, Sir Isaac answered, "Nobody."
Stopping his inspection, the visitor turned and said, "Evidently you did not understand my question. I asked who made this."
Newton, enjoying himself immensely no doubt, replied in a still more serious tone, "Nobody. What you see just happened to assume the form it now has."
"You must think I am a fool!" the visitor retorted heatedly, "Of course somebody made it, and he is a genius, and I would like to know who he is!"
Newton then spoke to his friend in a polite yet firm way: "This thing is but a puny imitation of a much grander system whose laws you know, and I am not able to convince you that this mere toy is without a designer or maker; yet you profess to believe that the great original from which the design is taken has come into being without either designer or maker!
Now tell me by what sort of reasoning do you reach such an incongruous conclusion?"Â
"Amicus Platoâ amicus Aristotelesâ magis amica veritas"
-Sir Isaac Newton

Psalm 19:1-2 KJV [1] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. [2] Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. In other words, as time progresses we continue learning more about the marvels of Godâs creation. The implication is that there is no limit to how much we can learn about the glory of God.
