Very enlightening. Great interview. Totally on point and well paced. Both interviewer and interviewee were really invested in the conversations. As a hearing impaired person, I also really appreciated the captions.

Full English captions are available, as transcribed by me. Even though the interview is in spoken English, I still personally love to turn on subtitles whenever available so I can more easily follow along! I do think the main appeal is listening to this interview like a podcast, but I went ahead and threw in some additional visuals for anyone watching anyway. There’s a playthrough of the beginning of EarthBound I did just for this interview in the background, with some commercials/trailers relevant to the conversation periodically spliced in.
