You are over producing basic lumber by 3-4 fold. That's why the lumber storages are full and all their trucks are doing exports. Processor buildings don't send a truck out, they only send a buy call out and thus lumber storage would do the delivery, or the lumber producer. But since they don't have any free trucks,. they can't deliver. You need to match the produced lumber to demanded lumber on industry area screen and that makes it work in balance.

50:00 Wouldn't it make more sense to have the express line stop at the train station and the two east-west lines stop on separate platforms at the metro plaza? It would avoid the backup issue with the two trains stopping onto the same side of the station and remove those turns from the express line.

What I'm doing in my cities: Same colour scheme and numbers for busses that serve certain purposes. For example:
Exclusive downtown busses:
100 - Downtown Line 1
200 - Downtown Line 2
300 - Downtown Line 3
Downtown & Outskirt connecters
10 - Bus line connecting outskirts with the downtown 1
20 - Bus line connecting outskirts with the downtown 2
30 - Bus line connecting outskirts with the downtown 3
Busses that are inner-city busses but don't run the downtown:
1 - Bus that runs from suburb X to suburb X
2 - Bus that runs from suburb X to suburb X
3 - Bus that runs from suburb X to suburb X
That makes it easier in the game but also makes it easier for people living in a city to know: "Ok this is a two digit number that goes downtown!"

So, your forestry industry problem with goods not getting where they need to be even though plenty are available is a known vanilla issue.
Biffa talked about it in many of his city builds, explaining why he uses a mod for it.
So in vanilla, when a building needs goods it sends out a notification to ALL buildings that have these goods available and want to sell them. One of them will reply and send those goods over, the problem is that the delivery can come from anywhere. It could be from a nearby warehouse or producing facility, it could be from a freight railway station, cargo harbor or cargo airport that's importing from a different city, it could be from a warehouse or producing facility all the way on the other side of your city.
The game does not take distance/travel time into account in vanilla. Each distributing facility has a finite amount of trucks to send goods across the city so really any long trip made is a downside. The larger your city, the more things start to snowball out of control so inevitably there comes a point that long trips gain critical mass, which causes huge delays and shortages where there should be none.
The mod that Biffa uses fixes this by sending out the order to the nearest distributing facility first. This creates shorter trips which means trucks return sooner to be able to send out again to deal with the next order.
Long story short, in vanilla the game is working as intended and there's little to nothing you can do to fix the core issue.
However, a few episodes back I commented about the cargo station in the redevelopped area not having a bypass track for any trains not wanting to go through that cargo station.
The bridge over the river going to that cargo station is a real bottleneck and that station is the cork preventing cargo from going where it needs to be.
You didn't notice it back then because on the other end of that cargo station the railway goes underground and all trains where waiting underground. It was hard to miss because you didn't stay in the underground view for long, but us viewers have the luxury to pause and rewind the video and I did catch the cargo train blockage.
Fixing it might not completely solve the issue with not enough goods in your forestry industry, but that blockage definatly isn't helping things.

The issue with the orange line between the Aeroport and the Central Station is that the yellow and the orange lines share the same track. The orange line already has a very high amount of vehicles (bc it's a very big line), but the yellow line is causing it to back up even more. Also, the yellow line is now also being made less efficient bc its getting stuck behind the orange line vehicles;
It would be more efficient to put the lines on separate tracks.
Edit: Spell check
