I know this was written as a love song. But my brother killed himself two days ago while I was hundreds of miles away, being forced to evacuate from a fire. All we know is came home from school and did it immediately. We were two sides of the same coin. He was a month away from graduating and moving back to the place he loved. And the secondary music video embedded in this video reminds me so damn much of him. It's one of the things keeping me going.

This song is so beautiful and painful. There was this one time when I was with a beautiful boy under the stars. We were wrapped up in blankets and were staring at the stars at night in the park. He held me tight, and he just stared at me and told me I was amazing and more than he ever expected and then kissed me in the most sweet, and tender way possible. And I showed him this song and sang it to him. It was the best night of my life. But things happened and we weren't ready for a relationship so we ended everything. It felt like he was the one. I'll always remember that night with this song. Maybe if he's meant for me he'll come back.
