I grew up 20 miles from Baltimore Md.- tucked away in a fading rural area -1/4 mile up my road was my Grandmothers Farm. Many times I rode my bike to the old farm house down a lane, through the woods - just to see Her and my Uncle (a quiet Vietnam Veteran). Often my aunts and uncles and cousins would meet and eat there....They are all gone now...This music sparks these memories...comforting to my mind...painful to the reality of missing them...
