This song hits so hard. The fact that someone actually said to me "don't test me, you don't want my blood on your hands." I'm always the person people trust to bring their problems to and it's flattering that they trust me and I really want to help them but if you refuse to get help, dumping all your problems on me is really fucking manipulative and traumatic. I have problems too, and I tend to ignore them and focus on other people's problems as a coping mechanism but it comes to a point when it's too much. This song makes me feel so empowered.

"This isnt feminism, its basic fucking etiquette" all of her songs are so fucking raw, like it sounds so amazing, and this one hits so fucking hard. Ive always been the therapist friend of all my "friends" and its always been like, im happy to help, but so many people only talk to me when they have problems and wont let me rant back, and wont talk to me when theyre actually doing ok, bc they dont need me then

I don’t think I could’ve found this song at a better time. I just cut ties with a two year long friendship because they had been mentally abusing me and threatening suicide like every other day. It was exhausting and it hurt so bad,so I had to leave.I relate to literally everything in this song, I wish people would see how big of an issue stuff like this is. If you’re dealing with somebody who treats you more like a throwaway therapist than a friend? Leave. Don’t look back. And know that you’re not alone

This song really do be hitting hard though, most of the people I know think they can just rant to me when ever they want, because I'm the mum friend who wants to help, but honestly I've been so worn down over the past 2 years that people ranting to me without asking just makes me upset with them because I was probably already struggling and didn't need to stress myself with someone who will never take my advice.
Point is: ASK TO RANT!!
Ask a friend if you can rant and respect them if they say "Hey sorry Im kinda going through shit rn"
And people! It's okay to say "Hey, actually could you find someone else to rant to rn? I'm having a very hard time atm and can't help you"
It's okay, you can't always help, you need to be able to help yourself at that moment in order to help the other person!
