Eclipses That Aligned With Pivotal Moments in History: Part 2

A followup discussion on the astrology of eclipses that coincided with major events in history, where we share more examples of eclipses from around the world, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Nick Dagan Best.

We open the episode by reviewing the main discovery that we made in the last episode, which was that: 1) important events in history tend to take place around the time of eclipses, and 2) people born near an eclipse tend to have some of the most important events in their lives coincide with eclipses.

We also review the operative range or time frame for eclipses, and what we found is that important events tend to take place within around a week of an eclipse, either before or after.

After that we review some recent events that coincided with the eclipses that just took place in October 2023, and then move on to talking about eclipses in the history of many different countries around the world, with many examples sent in by listeners of the podcast after the last episode.

In this episode we tried to cover more countries and regions that we didn't cover in the last episode, and also add some additional examples we had overlooked in areas we had covered previously.

Part 1 of your Eclipse episodes was magnificent and as I’m watching, this one is unfolding just as incredible. Thank you for these. I’ve stepped up my game with eclipses in my consulting practice because of this.

I want to commend Nick and Chris for their excellent research on and knowledge of the Russian history! They nailed it! Every single fact, however minor, was stated correctly 👏

Appreciate these episodes on eclipses! Fun future fact: the Aries eclipse in 2024 falls next to Canada's ascendant.

I loved this episode! I find that the more you look at eclipses, the more you find. They do seem to indicate important turning points in history and it seems as if people born under them are destined to play an important role in collective events. I look forward to any followup episodes and also, if Nick decides to release more database files I hope one of them is his 'Canada' file! I've been working on building my own but I'm sure he has many people and events I don't have. I purchased his other files and they are coming in handy! Kudos to both of you for a great episode on a fascinating topic!

Hi Chris, it's your almost astro twin here (29th of October 1984). I'm curious as to when you said you published your book in 2017 and it just fell within an eclipse... I had my first solo exhibition in London in the second week of February 2017 and it was a sell out show and a huge success. I thought I'd let you know the serendipity I case that was the same week you realised your book with an eclipse in Leo? So both of us Scorps would have been hit by that eclipse in terms of being put on a world stage with our work. Fascinating.

Thank you guys for this research, it's not only inspiring but extremely intriguing to hear on eclipse history. Prompted me to discover both of my parents were born under eclipses!

thank you guys for sharing knowledge with us. my close friend was born during lunar eclipse. i wanna know more about 29 degree, especially 29 degree ascendant point. it would be so great if you do an episode that focus on critical degrees 💕

Amazing episode, I can't wait to see the 3rd!! Another crucial historical event, the "discovery" of America by Cristoforo Colombo, happened on October 12th 1492 between two eclipses: Lunar Eclipse Octor 5th at 22 ♈️ and a Solar eclipse October 21 1492 at 7'30 ♏️ amazingly conjunct to Pluto 4'45 ♏️ and the North node 4'29 ♏️. Powerful charts. I love doing researches about eclipses and transits!!!

Mike Johnson is particularly interesting in regards to Uranus in Gemini since he is an Aquarius Sun. Another great episode, thanks for all your hard work Nick and Chris!

Astrology entered my life in the Taurus-Scorpio eclipse period Oct-Nov 2013. At the time I realized that turning points - seemingly fated events out of my control - throughout my life coincided with eclipses, especially eclipses in Taurus-Scorpio and Cancer-Capricorn. I also found out that I was born 4-5 days after a total lunar eclipse in Scorpio and 10 days before a Taurus solar eclipse. It made so much sense and kind of a relief to get another perspective of the fated events. Here is just one example of how eclipses have played out in my life, long before I knew anything about astrology. When I was 15 in the 1980's I met a five year older guy and we passionately fell in love in an eclipse period (Cancer-Cap). He's born two day after a total lunar eclipse in Cap (on my DC). We later moved in together, got married and got two kids. Both conceptions occurred in eclipse periods, and our first baby was an unexpected surprise pregnancy that I got aware of on my 20th birthday. My husband and I suddenly fell out of love after 18 1/2 years, i.e. the nodal return of the relationship. It was time to move on and we got divorced.

Hi Chris and Nick! 🙏 Just bringing your attention to: The Crown (the show) is releasing on Nov 16th.. it will now cover Lady Diana's death. The show has such a phenomenal influence on the public opinion of the royals.. to the extent that people outside the England actually visualise the cast as actual royals even.

Hey Chris is there any way you could put those eclipses and their dates and what happened in a book for us?
