Every Junkyard & Ebay Part on my "Mint" Honda Civic

In today’s video, I give you a walk-around of (almost) every Junkyard and eBay part on my Honda Civic Build! This car was far from “mint” when I first got it (and still is). But I’ve made big improvements by replacing and fixing parts of the years. Enjoy!

The Junkyard and eBay have been a huge resource for my Honda Civic over the years. I get a lot of compliments on this car, but many assume the Civic has always been this clean or original. In my opinion, what makes a clean Civic is more than a good looking engine bay or wheels. It’s a combination of a lot of little things to get the car back to a “fresher” state. In my case, I enjoy the OEM+ look, so many of my parts were to replace worn/broken parts. It sounds funny when I say it, but clean Honda parts are getting harder to come by. Do it while you can!

The Junkyard is a great place for body panels, trim pieces, interiors, and the occasional OEM accessories. Most of my “cooler” parts were bought off parts cars or eBay. For things like steering wheels, lips, etc, I would recommend checking facebook or even forums that still exist. Most of these improvements don’t happen overnight, so have patience and the right parts will come along. I think some of my Civic’s biggest improvements were the interior and small exterior bits that added up. Overall, I saved a ton of money using these resources and love the look, feel, smell of the car.

I hope this video helps put things into perspective that not everything is clean to begin with and it takes time and attention to detail. Even then, it can still only look clean on the internet lol!

Some of the eBay Parts I mentioned! (eBay partner Affiliate Links)

1999-2000 Honda Civic ABS Spoiler (Unpainted): ebay.us/a6VinA

1996-2000 Coupe/Sedan Mud Guards: ebay.us/GqNxvl

Replica 99-00 EM1 Front Lip (Not OEM): ebay.us/DgPaGo

Type R 99-00 Replica Lip (What I used to have): ebay.us/bc3tCO

Thanks for watching!

As a female who owns a clean lowered 00 Honda Civic which resembles Anthony’s civic only in black, it makes me sad to see civics in our year get a bad wrap. Let’s face it, most civic owners do put less than desirable parts on them but a few of us do LOVE our civics and treat them well, without putting aftermarket junk on them. I’m the only owner of my civic and I will forever be bide her side🙃😎

Thanks for this. A lot of people forget about junk yards. To me, finding useful parts in the junk yard is a way to honor the cars that have passed away (i.e. been scrapped). And you, have honored them in the best way.

Man your civic is beyond clean, it is honestly probably the BEST civic coupe of this generation that I've seen! And makes me want one, and makes me miss my sister's old 97 EJ6 😔. Your style and execution makes me want to clean up my V6 Solara Sport Hardtop, even with my lack of aftermarket haha

It’s great seeing the condition of your cars. I think we have a very similar mindset when it comes to mods and being particularly about the condition of each part. Great job and keep it up! One of the cleanest Civics I’ve seen!

I cant stop looking at this civic reminds me of my friend 2000 Civic RS even though it was a four door, it came with the factory dark headlight, those would look gr8 on this car too!!!

The junkyard helps me really get ideas looking at the different OEM body parts, trim pieces, etc even from non Honda cars too. I've fabricated or even just cut some OEM side skirts then mounted them upside down to fit my 90 ef sedan as well as some newer accord rear OEM lip piece's from the bumper to fit as well with all basic tools. A little confidence and imagination goes along way, also if you mess up don't stress it especially if it's a common junkyard piece that you got cheap

Always loved the 98-00 civic coupes. Was trying to find one for my first way back when but ended up with a 6th gen accord and fell in love with hondas

People don’t realize the little things that make the biggest difference. I did an obs Silverado last year and did the same thing. Replace little things and oem plus upgrades. I bought an 8th gen civic si I’m doing the same thing. Great videos man. Found you 2 weeks ago and I’m binging your videos.

One of my favorite Hondas on YouTube! My first car that I bought when I turned 18 was a 95’ EJ1 in rough shape, and when I found your channel you hugely inspired me to actually put the time in and restore the car completely from interior to the exterior. Brought it to OEM+ and stored it away for a year until I decided to sell it for another project which I currently have now, being an S2000 I purchased for dirt dirt cheap. Keep up the positivity and the good vibes man! Love the content and am very excited to see what’s to come in the future <3
