It is 200 years before the birth of Christ and Rome is the new superpower of the ancient world. She believes she is invincible - but one man is destined to change that. He is a man bound by oath to avenge the wrongs inflicted on his home and, in pursuit of revenge, he will stop at nothing. Hannibal explores the man behind the myth, revealing what drove the 26-year-old to mastermind one of the most audacious military moves in history. With 40,000 soldiers and 37 elephants, he marched 1,500 miles to challenge his enemies on their own soil. It was an act so daring that few people believed it possible. Hannibal combines drama, the latest historical research and state-of-the-art CGI to bring this spectacular story to life.

The gentleman playing Hannibal is such a great actor. He was in Star Trek and Kingdom of Heaven too

Even Carthage was ceased to exist, its legacy lives on such as Barcelona, one of the famous cities of Spain was named after Hannibal Barca.

Hannibal and Scipio Africanucs. I both admire them since they respected each other. If there’s one lesson I learned is that respect is everything. Hannibal is a true legend as is Scipio.

That was really inspirational when Hannibal gloriously dealt with that big rock in the Alp's. Talk about heroics. The histories are full of events that can show how humans can endure and overcome impossible situations. THIS one here is the best of all......... How Hannibal turned a big rock into several smaller rocks. What a Hero of North Africa! YAAAAAY!

It is amazing how close Rome was to collapse hundreds of years before the first emperor! If just one of the two things after Canae were done differently between Carthage and Hannibal, who knows what would happen to the world as we knew it then!

Alexander Siddig is a wonderful actor! Hannibal, was a magnificent general.Feared by the romans because he did things that was unusal and he was succesful to the bitter end. But as always in warfare IF we don’t have a succesful supplyline with food and new men . He was almost succesful. Napoleon.Hitler and Charles the XII of Sweden admired Him.
