Epic History TV's complete four-part history of Alexander the Great in one video. Follow the incredible story of the Macedonian king as he embarks on the total conquest of the ancient world's greatest superpower, the Persian Empire. With dramatic victories at the Granicus, Issus and Gaugamela, Alexander defeats Darius III and claims the throne of Persia. But his campaign to subdue the empire's easternmost provinces and reach the edge of the known world will take him into modern Afghanistan, Pakistan and the frontier of India, where he meets the Indian king Porus in battle at the Hydaspes. This is the complete overview of Alexander's conquests, a 10 year period of immense drama and historical significance, as the young Macedonian king's breathtaking achievements ushered in a new era in European and Middle Eastern history - the Hellenistic Age.

The fact that Alexander the Great's name is remembered even 2000+ years after his death is mindblowing...

This narrator was born to narrate. Perfect pitch of voice. The serious and heavy inflection of words 🤌🏻

Someone once told me that humans can reach immortality by living in the memory’s of their glory. To think that we have Alexanders name and his accomplishments more than 2,000+ years after his death makes truly proves that he reached immortality

I’m from Samarkand, where Alexander the Great conquered and ruled. We really respect him, even they say my grandma’s ancestors are his blood.

Can you I imagine that conversation: "Where is my husband?" "He died in battle." "Where is his body?" "We used it to build a bridge."

When Alexander the Great died, the mother of Darius burst to intense cries and committed suicide. People dont understand how important this man was and the huge effect he had on people. Also many parts of his personality are only now coming to scientific attention, such as the fact that he set alot of democratic laws for the governance of cities.

Learning about Alexander in college gave me a midlife crisis. This man was conquering the world at the same age where I’m in a battle to not eat too many ramen packets in one day

The great leader & empire who ever lived on the face of the earth. A Visionary who was able to achieve and see things beyond any average king. A true ideal to be followed and will be remembered for his courage, ferocity, resilience and enigmatic personality. May god bless his soul 🙌

Once again, a passionate person, with cheap software and a microphone, beats the pants of the History Channel and Discovery combined. AND RELEASES IT FOR FREE. Thank you.

Imagine having a teacher like Aristotle, at his time probably considered a just a popular philosopher among many others, now one of the most important thinkers in our history.

Much respect for learning and spreading Hellas 🇬🇷 history to this world. This is a very informative video ❤ And i say that cause there is so much propaganda going on from Albanians and "north Macedonias" claiming Alexanders origins and even calling the historical proofs fake, and Greece a non existent country!!! This really proves to them that the whole world knows the truth about Alexander being a Greek!!!
