Do you think Messi is getting too much coverage?

I'm from Angola, Africa. Due to the time difference, MLS games here in Africa are at 00:00, 01:00 or 02:00 in the morning. Do you know what we do? We stop sleeping to watch the Inter Miami game, even though we know that at 5am or 6am we have to get up to go to work, university, etc.

I don't recall in any sports that fans go and see one sportsman try and score against their team for the honour of having witnessed that moment and going home to tell everyone about it. Even when Argentina went to Peru to play the qualification games for the next world cup, Peruvian fans had their national team shirt on but it had Messi's name on the back. Opposition fans feel happy when Messi scores against them. It's like going to a concert and waiting for the main act to sing their hits.

Messi, at his old age, is still better than any other MLS player. I'm sorry if anyone's feelings are hurt

People talk about Messi for a multitude of reasons, but one thing is for certain: his incredible talent on the football field is undeniable. Messi has consistently proved himself as one of the greatest players of all time, breaking records and mesmerizing fans with his exceptional skills, agility, and goal-scoring abilities. Beyond his natural talent, Messi's humility, dedication, and love for the game have endeared him to millions of people around the world. Whether you are a football enthusiast or not, it is hard not to appreciate and talk about Messi's impact on the sport. His success story, coming from a humble background in Argentina, resonates with many people and serves as a reminder that hard work and passion can lead to greatness. Not only is Messi the biggest sporting star but also THE biggest and MOST influential individual on the planet. I assume his relevancy will continue the same until he retires. So, it is never enough Messi, we want MORE Messi, until the end of time šŸ

Compare the MLS highlights clips, Messā€™s game highlights usually have 100x views. Look at the recent match day, 2M views for Miami game vs ~20k for the others. In a word, Messi lifts MLS to a completely new level

Ill be honest. The only reason im watching mls is because of messi mostly. Even suarez and busquets too. But mostly messi. The one thing i noticed is because of messi i came to know about robert taylor, campana,d gomez, cremaschi. Messi has that influence to make his teammates shine. But as i watch al nssr matches i still dont know who the other players are. Not hate to ronaldo. He shines. But he overshadows the team. Thats the difference between the two. One is the GOAT.

ā¤ā¤ā¤MessišŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰. Messi has been a blockbuster since he was like 17 years old. You may not yet understand the meaning of Messi for the whole sport world and certainly to the MLS. You are the luckiest people now. So it would be crazy not to talk about Messi a lot more.ā¤ā¤ā¤. Do you think that we would be wake like at 3 am or 5 am in the morning just to watch MLS?!! Never. But we are cause of Messiā¤ā¤ā¤šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰Best Regards from Finland!
