Welcome BACK! To another Episode. Thank you all for being so supportive. I want to note our favorite rapper/actor Common makes an appearance in Ava (2020) so we urge you to check our John Wick vs Common BJJ / Judo breakdown on our channel too: https://youtu.be/_aOpGPQFpPM Logan/Chad also want to note practicing the Ashi Otoshi is deceivingly risky so please only practice with a professional trainer! With that being said, which breakdown would you like to see us cover next?

Movies like this would be so much better if you choreographed the fights. It's always fun to watch Chad and Logan explain every detail, even though I am not a fighter myself.

It's like the choreographer was told he was designing fights for a domestic thriller rather than a spy movie.

I would agree that the new "standard" for fight choreography in films makes watching scenes like these tough. I didn't realize how new this movie was, which makes it disappointing that the fights look so sloppy

Any Black Widow fight scene. Although the acrobatics may be a challenge.

I'd be interested to see a breakdown of Nagisa vs Karma from Assassination Classroom. It's really well choreographed for an animated fight. From what I could tell there were very few unrealistic attacks, but I'd like to see how viable you think Nagisa's final move would be in real life.

Considering John is 847 years old at this point I’m pretty sure that fight was close to accurate

I love how you guys not only give a detailed breakdown but also give alternatives to what characters could do instead, I love you guys. Please breakdown the medical room scene in mile 22 where it’s the officer is assaulted by 2 guys with scalpels and wins

I appreciate all the work that you do to foster a neat community who is just as passionate about film and martial arts as your team clearly is. Keep up the amazing work!

Loved the breakdown of the crucifix. I remember back when i was about 18 and I went to boxing/mma/grappling classes taught by the top student of my childhood karate instructor a couple times per week, he showed us how to defend against a front takedown by rotating it into a crucifix. It was one of the most intuitive, fun, powerful, etc. moves he ever showed us. Love the crucifix.

For the first scene, if they wanted to keep the "throw him off" for flow reasons, my first thought was to do a hip lift escape. Sure it doesn't work so well against someone experienced without a few extras (like tucking a leg and rolling to the side) but it is at least far more "realistic" than the funky arm push off and keeps the fight flow the way they had it.
