I discovered this song on accident, and God has really been using it to minister to me. A few months ago, I prayed that I would be like Jesus and do what Jesus did, and I've been studying Jesus' life, teaching, and ministry in the Bible. About Himself, Jesus says, "I only do what I see my Father doing." Knowing the Father is absolutely key. God has really been taking me through a season of greater and deeper surrender, where I've really been seeking Him more. I've really earnestly sung/prayed this song to God, and He has challenged me in all the ways I do other things and give myself to other things but Him. He says to me, "You said you don't want it if I'm not in it. I'm not in that. If you want me, I'm over here..." It's easy to say it, but it's much harder to really walk it out. Am I really going to follow Him in everything I do? Am I willing to give up everything in my life that distracts from Him? The more I pursue Him and know Him, the more I want to. But I constantly need His help to remind me and strengthen me to go after Him. I've come back to this song again and again.
