Broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years about 10 months ago. This song really encapsulates the struggle of moving on and still being reminded of the person you thought was the love of your life even in your attempts at new love. First time I listened to this I had tears in my eyes. This is a really amazing cover, and very cathartic for me as our favourite movie to watch together was La La Land and we both saw the parallels in our breakup with the end of that movie too. Thanks for such a wonderful piece.
