what a beautiful man, what beautiful music I cannot get over his loss. Yet even when my tears flow, its not sadness it's the joy of the music he leaves us all with for an eternity. It's that that will never die. David just had that special something, fragility and beauty. May the light of our love for you shine upon you David and your musicianship.Thank you.RIP xxx

One hell of a song. Still better than 2day's standards - will not fade another classic. Just touches the soul plexis engulfing one with so much feelings of happiness, sadness all at the same time. Very rare an artist does something of such high quality classic & very deep, just can't be matched by music as time goes on. It's in a class of it's own - thank you so much David Bowie for this song. A legacy you will leave behind and centuries to come they will say who's the artist of this song!

A 'one off' collaboration between two major talents that works perfectly. It comes at you in a subtle, insinuating way, with an undercurrent of sadness sustained throughout the compelling melody, chorus & verses. Calm yet insistent, to me this was one of the finest 'pop' songs of its era - like the best of its kind, it went beyond mere 'pop' and said a whole lot more. The propulsive, jazz-inflected backing from Metheny is serene yet completely gripping, but Bowie's vocal here (even for him) is truly outstanding, displaying yet again his great range & phrasing. His regulation 'Anthony Newley' style croon is the base upon which his pitch changes & the emotional high notes swoop to grip you. His control of a song was amazing, just like him. RIP...
