As someone who was never considered my brother's sibling, and someone who talked an average of 1 sentence a week with my brothers ever since we were young, this song always made me wish we were close. I was always jealous at those who had good relationships with their siblings, and would argue with those that said their siblings were annoying.
I want to give a message to all the older siblings out there, never ever neglect your younger siblings. Take them out today, bake cookies with them or play a game with them. Don't let them go through having to learn independence at such a young age, or they will ignore red flags in friendships or relationships when they're older.

I remember in 6th grade, I had to move schools that year and I was having a rough time not being able to celebrate 6th grade traditions with kids I knew.This one day, my dad drove me and someone left their hoodie in the car. I asked my dad if I could wear it and I could, kept me warm and dry that day. Two days later we found out it was my brother’s, but instead of coming over to take it back, he let me keep it.
It’s my comfort hoodie and everytime I wear it, I know I can be strong and carry on better then he did as a teenager. I’m gonna make him proud of me.

I have been homeschooled my entire life. This year has been my first year being in proper school, and I am so grateful for my three amazing best friends that I met at the beginning of the year.
