Fun fact: this song was recorded in actress Jane Seymour’s 15th-century mansion, a house that Yorke was convinced was haunted.

I'm not surprised that OK Computer got into the national recording registry, it 100% deserved it

I avoided listening to Radiohead for years because they always seemed like the stereotypical "music snob band". Why did I do that? This is incredible!

I truly believe that entire “Rain Down On Me” segment is one of the greatest musical compositions ever made. It’s so fucking good.

The perfect representation of someone in a neurotic state, nothing feels okay, and nothing is as it seems, struggling to find meaning in a life you were lead to believe you made, truth is we're all products of the environment we were put into. Choices lead to consequences, but sometimes I question if we really had a choice to begin with, moving forward only wishing to move backwards, and seemingly unable to enjoy the present which in turn leaves an already broken person into a vicious cycle of cynicism and delusion.

[Verse 1] Please, could you stop the noise I'm trying to get some rest From all the unborn chicken voices In my head [Chorus] What's that? (I may be paranoid, but not an android) What's that? (I may be paranoid, but not an android) [Verse 2] When I am king You will be first against the wall With your opinion Which is of no consequence at all [Chorus] What's that? (I may be paranoid, but no android) What's that? (I may be paranoid, but no android) [Verse 3] Ambition makes you look pretty ugly Kicking, squealing, Gucci little piggy You don't remember You don't remember Why don't you remember my name? Off with his head, man Off with his head, man Why don't you remember my name? I guess he does [Bridge] Rain down, rain down Come on, rain down on me From a great height From a great height, height Rain down, rain down Come on, rain down on me From a great height From a great height, height That's it, sir, you're leaving (Rain down) The crackle of pigskin (Rain down) The dust and the screaming (Come on, rain down) The yuppies networking (On me) The panic, the vomit (From a great height) The panic, the vomit (From a great height) God loves his children God loves his children, yeah

Whole thing is great but I especially love that first two minutes, sounds like the credits music to a movie or game bad ending that destroys you emotionally

This is Radiohead's Bohemian Rhapsody. Just an absolute buffet of noise but it all comes together so nicely to create one of the best songs of all time. Definitely top 5 for me

everyone always talks about the 3rd section of this song, but i believe the part that really sold me into the band was the first 2 minutes. to this day, every time i hear the song, i still get that euphoric feeling i get when i first listened to this song each time thom sings "what's that?"

I like how the most played part is 0.00 Expressing just how good this song is. The start is soooo good. I don’t know how I didn’t hear this before. I don’t know why I couldn’t hear this. Why I couldn’t enjoy it. But now I can and it’s fucking amazing. Wow, holy shit. How did they come up with this? The entire thing is fucking amazing

Cant get over how most of this song is so haunting, then towards the end Radiohead hits us with a Top 10 Nastiest Guitar Licks of 1997.

the 4 beeps that give goosebumps, the solid guitars at the start, the wonderfully sung lyrics, the groovy and angry middle part, the beauty of the rain down part, and the sheer awesomeness of the end, this has solidified itself as one of the greatest in radiohead’s catalog and one of the greatest in all of music
