Let's go for the empire! I am and has always loved the multiple forces of the tau empire. The Kroot carnivore squad where the first unit I glued up of the tau empire. They are a space tracking races and are like The Predator but with bird features.

I thought you would have something to say about the irony of a Tau ridiculing the idea of the Etherials "inspiring " devoution based on pheromones.
Quite cool how they planted this seed right at the onset only to see it bear fruit in the Farsight books so many years later.
I'm aware that there were some hints in Xenology but it wasn't as explicit and came with the ubiquitous unreliable narrator.
