Great stuff dude! If you're on a Tau kick I would recommend the Shadowsun novella. Really neat prologue featuring the Emperor.

Love these stories and the Guard ones are so fun as you see regular humans even well trained ones compared to a single Astartes even though they didn't write the Astartes well. Honestly the well trained troops of known regiments like Cadia, Kreig, Mordian, Tallarn, Elysian drop troops, Harkoni Warhawks and such are better drilled and trained. They just lack all the tech and mobility of the Tau.
