Mark and Amber's breakup was handled way better in the show than in the comics. Also when the Invincible theme kicks in when Mark says "No!" is absolute perfection. This is really a pivotal part for Mark to get stronger, Allen's evolution and possibly new love interests... (I wonder who...)

Oh my God, it's Anissa. I've been waiting for this, and they handled her really well. Thank god she broke up Mark and Amber. Also, the Comic con scene was perfect.

Best episode yet, honestly liked Anissa's new design, looks more like a hardened warrior than her comic book version. And the meta animation talk was quite funny and unexpected.

The BESTTTT episode of the season. The plot really took full throttle in this episode. I’m still amazed by how well the creators have adapted the comic book source to the live screen! Another great video as always!!

I hated Amber in the first session because I feel like she was completely unreasonable in her response to Mark but I feel like they really made her relatable and likable and is actually a good person. Good job show people.

thank you so much for mentioning that cecil only cares about protecting the earth and anything else is expendable. Possibly my favorite character in the entire show. Sadly I see a lot of people focusing only on the fact that he does things normal people would find reprehensible, but in season 1 when debbie says she hates him, with little hesitation he says "me too". He knows he's not a good person, but his intentions are noble and i wish more folks would see that instead of just "oh he only wants to control people".
also during his fight with anissa Cecil is in Mark's ear telling him the more logical and safe options for things to say. He doesn't want mark to die not just because he's earths best hope against anything the military can't handle, but because he's still a kid who's world was turned upside down only like a year ago. Cecil is the best character in the show and possibly one of my favorite "morally gray" good guy archetypes sort of character in general.

I was getting impatient for Mark and Amber's breakup but this episode made it worth the wait, definitely more impactful then the comic version.
