well, the trend of “go little rockstar” also means that they didn't intentionally misspelled the lyrics, it simply follows the message of the song for the one they love, rockstar means someone who is "greater than great to you" "The one who brings the most happiness, and the person you can rely on the most when you're at your worst

My sister died in September. I miss her. My only sibling. I’m not doing Christmas. Mainly cause I just have shut down. I’ve shut everyone out. If I don’t get better after Christmas I’ll seek help. This song is depressing that’s why I like it. Part of me wants to run away and live in the woods alone. I know it’s a bad idea but I have the urge to isolate myself. Go little rockstar

To me, this song is about the actions of both parties in an abusive relationship. The beginning lyrics, 'Now he wants to start talking, Go ahead when I'm walking', relates to an argument. Like, the narrator's partner is begging for forgiveness, or is trying to apologize or correct themselves to appease the narrator in a way. By the tone of the narrator and the song, this has been happening for a while, and is becoming a day to day thing. A red flag.
The next lyric, "Face the lie that I'm hawking, is very IMPORTANT. This verse is talking about the fault of the narrator. (I will get to this later on). Moving forward, the next verses, 'You take your clothes off, and 'heading for the last fight' relate to how the abuse of the relationship has sadly moved from verbal or mental to physical and s*xual. As you might know, heading for the last fight relates to the narrator wanting to end the relationship. As the song continues, the narrator mentions waiting for the world to 'untrack' and also about the 'worthwhile track'. This is also HUGE. The narrator is talking about how they will continue to sustain the abuse and discomfort for as long as it takes for them to experience a twisted version of love. As the song starts to end, we get the lines, 'you can be the highlight' and the mention of creating a cave-in and dive-in situation. This relates to the final fight. When the narrator says that their partner can be the highlight, they're talking about being the reason, the action, the purpose. When talking about 'dive in', their saying, be the final step I need to end this. When the narrator inputs, 'Hoping on a late night, this could mean, hoping for all the pain to go away, waiting for the daily argument, for hoping for a savior to show them the right side of love.
Now, this is where the story starts to make sense. LISTEN CAREFULLY!
The narrator AND the partner are BOTH victims of abuse. Hear me out!
The narrator AND the partner are BOTH at fault in SOME way!
The narrator is most likely someone who suffered from abuse at an early age and grew up with a twisted version of love. 'Hoping' to seek out of acceptance, they put themselves into situations
like this. When the narrator meets the partner, they have no feeling for them. They most likely feel empty and uninterested. By taking them as their partner and swearing 'love', they put both the partner and themselves into this situation. This is their ONE FAULT. (I DO NOT CONDOME VICTIM SHAMING, OR BLAIMING!!!!)
The partner is also someone looking for love, and probably a victim of some kind of abuse. When the narrator announces 'love', they try to reciprocate it, but it turns tarry and toxic, endangering both of the parties.
Finally, the lines, 'hoping that I won't cry and try, relate to the narrator craving the urge to be loved in the right way and wanting to find someone else, or reunite with the ex-partner in question.
(*Bonus- the line, 'Pope is a Rockstar' might imply that either the narrator met someone who showed them REAL love in the past, or maybe the partner was OK to begin with, but became toxic later on.) Thank you for coming to my TED-talk :)
