So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell?
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish
How I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here

I was there! I was 14! My daddy took me, how many people can say that? My father was the best daddy there EVER was. God rest his soul. I can’t tell you a better time I’ve had in my entire life, I’m 40 this year. Blessed be you Pink Floyd fans 💜
Edit: Thank you for the beautuful comments💝. I used my boyfriend's YouTube, I'm not a 48yr old man 😂

I'm 67 years young and grew up in the age of great bands like Pink Floyd. Of all the rock and heavy metal bands that I have always enjoyed, this is my personal favorite group. My brother and I were both huge fans. In 2014 my brother passed away and now when I hear this particular Floyd song, I think of him and cry like a baby. Such a great song and now it's a tough one to listen to. I usually get out the Division Bell album and listen to the song Coming Back To Life.

When my husband passed away..... this song was playing on the radio when I arrived at the funeral home to sign his cremation paperwork. I sat n cried , knowing this was a sign from him. When I went to pick up his ashes at the funeral home..... this song was playing on the radio when I turned the car key on. I sat n cried Every time I seem to need him.....this song plays on the radio for me. This song makes me feel my husband is near n still with me.
