Update March 2023 - Wow. I am blown away by call the comments, and to see how many people come here to listen to this, masterpiece. I thought this would be a good moment to explain why this means so much to me. I lost my dad to cancer in 2013, and he was a huge Pink Floyd fan, but I didnโt like Floyd when he was alive, too stuck in my metal ways. When he passed away, I looked through his record collection so I could have him close to me, and I discovered bands that blew my mind, like Pink Floyd.
One day last year this song came on whilst I was taking my mother shopping, and she started to cry because this song was one of their favourites, it was a heartbreaking and beautiful moment. To this day I wish I could go back and talk to my old man about bands, especially Pink Floyd, his experiences hearing from the first time and seeing them live, I really wish I could have that moment with him.
Thanks for reading, and keep loving this masterpiece my parents love so much. Miss you old man x
