I thought we wouldn’t see anything from Monty ever again since his death was years ago, but I was proven wrong.

I remember when I first saw Monty posting concepts for Haloid on Deviant Art and I messaged him showering him in compliments having no idea what he was even making. He was very quick to respond, and communicative, and messaged me the moment he posted the completed project to YouTube and I was a fan ever since. I watched everything he posted from then on and blown away when he joined Rooster Teeth and made amazing things for RvB (I was already a huge fan of RvB for years so him joining them was an amazing moment as a fan) and eventually started RWBY. The world lost someone who would have really done great things. It really really breaks my heart. It still breaks my heart.

I gotta be honest, seeing this video almost had me tearing up because Monty was such a big figure in my life and the stuff he created was amazing. He was, IS, one of my main inspirations. To see a project like this carry on his name and legacy is wonderful. Love the vid Swooz.

RIP to a genius that deserved more recognition than he recieved. you can call me stupid, but to me, michael jackson, prince, the beatles etc. this man will remain a legend and greatest in his craft and will be one that was taken from the human race far to soon. at least from this fan monty, thank you for the hours and hours of absolute grand entertainment you out of your own pocket and time offered to us. you are and will at least with me, always be missed.
