My whole life I am a Feyenoord supporter. So that is now close to 54 years. Arne is one of our best coaches we ever had. He is loved and respected by supporters, players, staff, opponents, media and will be surely missed. You will get a great coach, give him love and support and you will love him too. All the best Arne, thank you for all you have done for Feyenoord.

I'm baffled at the way everyone keeps assuming Xabi would have succeeded at liverpool, and anyone else would be trash and fail.. truth is anyone taking over from Kloop has huge shoes to fill, and no one is guaranteed to succeed and immediately win us the title next season. No one even heard about Arne Slot until a couple of days ago, yet he's being written off before he even takes on the job.
The reality is that regardless of which manager we got, there will have to be a period of adjustment.. we'll be a team in transition for a couple of years to come..
Welcome Arne Slot to LFC, YNWA β€

I'm so glad it's now over and we can get behind a new man. JΓΌrgen has been incredible for us. He's won plenty of trophies and come so close at other times too. Hopefully we will remember all the good times and forget how things panned out over the last few weeks. Especially given what we might have thought this season could have been like back in August. It's been a rollercoaster. The end of last and the majority of this season was a great big climb, despite the small dips over the last 6-8 weeks, so I for one think we're doing pretty well, but too many of the players legs are gone - few down to age, mainly down to exhaustion and or spells of injury this season.
Looking forward to seeing whether Arne Slot can replicate his own succces over here.
Welcome to Anfield YNWA

Playing style is one thing.....having the cattle to execute your style is another. LFC need an overhaul up front and some at the back. We seem to always be unbalanced. Years ago we had a defence crisis. Then it was a midfield crisis, Now it's an attack crisis. We don't seem to address the team as a whole. We always seem to wait until we have a crisis before we fix it. I hope Slot is more ruthless in keeping a short leash on determine whether they're good enough whilst we suffer from the effects of them being rubbish....

My least favorite thing about football youtube is when people with a a certain follower count just know with 100% certainty a) what the club will do in the summer b) what the new manager will do c) whether it will be successful.
We don't know. There are maybe 15 people in/around any club that "know," and even then it's a moving target with lots of factors.
I appreciate your commentary on how it makes you feel and the emotions around the club you support. I've told you before, but it still holds true... it's refreshing to get out of the toxic banter culture.

βSlot = Paisley 2.0, who was predicted by 99.9% of pundits to fail. He replaced Keegan (a la Salah) with Sir King Kenny & the reds won 4 UCL titles in 9 yrs. Slot will do the same or better as the 10 Kop-Kids Cup-Kings are amazing.
Arne won the dutch title & cup w a team of no stars & who had been down in the dunps 4 decades.
Slots win rate is an amazing 63%.

Good to have you back! I agree that some players will leave this summer, wanting to try a new experience - Robertson & Salah perhaps, while others maybe moved on to fund new incomings. To your point, no-one knows who Slot will want to work with or bring in at this stage, so it's all guesswork and speculation.
Having said all that, maybe it'll be worth having a video of an early Slot @ Anfield match in your back pocket... could come in handy further down the line π
