I was 16 when my Dad passed away and I’ll never forget it was the last song that played at his funeral it started to rain and as everyone’s leaving most of them on motorcycles….. I lost it and realized I had lost him. Every time I hear it I can’t help but think of you Dad R.I.P ❤️

This was my father's favorite band growing up and one of the first songs he introduced to me as a little kid in the early 80s. Today he doesn't have much time left to live. We've already started giving him hospice medication to make his suffering easier. I woke him up a while ago so that I can listen to this song with him at least one more time before he passes. With his eyes shut he jostled a bit and murmured something through his medicated state. Then he fell back to sleep halfway through the song. That's all I wanted.

I have never stopped listening to CCR. and Never will. In high school, windows down, 8 track in, and this turned up loud enough to break the sound barrier. Those were the days. I've seen a lot of rain in my days.

Born and raised in Viêt Nam during the war before 1975 so CCR and this song was engraved in my heart. My family escaped VN on April of 1975 and not until I went to college from 1976-1981 that I learn to appreciate CCR and this beautiful song plus Proud Mary and who’ll stop the rain.Thanks for the wonderful music to help me overcoming the obstacles in life especially in the USA coming from war torn Viêt Nam.
