China has all kinds of sugar gourd for a long time, all kinds of fruits, and even yam beans. Sugar gourd has a thousand years of history in China. I hope Koreans can respect the food culture of other countries.

For clarification, about tanghulu, i do not know why the "Chinese" representative said there is only one kind of fruit made for Tanghulu. In China, we also use various kinds of fruit to make Tanghulu as well, such as mandarin,Grape, strawberry, Chinese yam too. Tanghulu is pretty traditional and cultural food with much longer history than we thought in China. And i am glad other countries ppl like Chinese street foods such as tanghulu. To the Chinese girl in this video, i want to say" don't give other ppl with incorrect answer, when you don't know much about it”.

Did anyone notice that the Korean girl was trying to appropriate the tanghulu (a Chinese dessert as a Korean cuisine) Idk if im right but she didn't look very convinced about the origins of the Chinese dessert

Korean food always be like: use foods from other countries to add some Korean thing, they’ll call it Korean food. Sushi to Kimbam. fried chicken to Korean fried chicken. Chinese Tanghulu to Korean tanghulu. Chinese Malatang to Korean Malatang😂

tanghulu has a history of more than 800 years in China, at that time, there were many kinds of sugar gourds, including hawthorn, grape, yam, walnut meat, bean paste and so on. Now tanghulu has more varieties, in addition to fruits and vegetables, some businesses even lobster and steamed buns are covered with sugar, really want to know where this self-proclaimed Miss China steamed buns come from, such a common Chinese snack has not seen, too rare.

In China, fruit Tanghulu 水果糖葫芦 has always been our traditional snack! Thirty years ago, when I still lived in Beijing, my favorite was strawberries and oranges Tanghulu! I don't understand why this China representative claims China only has hawthorn Tanghulu – perhaps she is from the south? Tanghulu is originated in northern China, and I find it perplexing that she makes such a statement. In recent years, Tanghulu has gained popularity in South Korea, with many attempting to culturally appropriate it, falsely implying that China only has hawthorn one. The truth is, fruit Tanghulu has been a part of Chinese cuisine for decades! Search on Google for the official introduction page of Tanghulu, and you'll find pictures from 20 years ago of a grandpa selling fruit Tanghulu in Beijing!😅

How can that Korean girl say that Koreans make Tanghulu better 😢 Doesn‘t she know that the most popular Tanghulu brand in South Korea is called the Wang family and it’s opened by the Chinese??? She just ate Chinese made Tanghulu in South Korea. 😅

I love how the Japanese girl is so used to putting the whole food in her mouth instead of taking a bite so she ends up putting a whole ass tangerine in her mouth and being shocked at how sweet it is. 😂😂

That Chinese girl, I suspect she is a fake Chinese, she said that there is only one kind of tanghulu in China. In fact, in ancient China, there were tanghulu made from various fruits. Candied haws on a stick is a traditional Chinese snack that originated in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is made by skewering wild fruits with bamboo skewers and then dipping them in maltose syrup. The syrup hardens quickly when exposed to the wind. A common winter snack in the north is usually made of hawthorn skewers. The sugar is thin and frozen. It tastes sour, sweet and very cold. The ancient practice began during the Song Dynasty. "Yanjing Chronicles" records: The candied haws on a bamboo stick is made with mountain red, crab apple, grape, sesame yam, walnut kernel, bean paste, etc., dipped in rock sugar, sweet and crispy And cool.

Candied haws on a stick is a traditional Chinese food. The Korean said that Korea is very good at making delicious food, but it turned out that it was all made in China. That Chinese, as a Taiwanese, I really can’t understand. There have been so many kinds of candied haws in China since ancient times. How come you only have one kind? It’s really embarrassing. You like Korea so much that you spread news about your country so much. Just stay in Korea. Bar!😅

Girl, have you really lived in China? The tanghulu at the entrance of your primary school only have hawthorn flavor? Who guided you to say such words?

It’s ironic to name the channel “world friends”. Korea is not dedicated to multinational interactions, but seeking to appropriate cultural delights of other countries that Korea covets. Stealing Chinese tradition, culture, history and culture, Korea will one day lose its own features. But Korea doesn’t care about the scenario of course, in that it was, and is chinesized proactively all the time😅

As a Thai I feel somehow offended that Stir Fried Basil with Minced Pork were chosen to be represent Thai street food because it's more of a full meal than something that you can take and eat while you walk. I respect that someone made it into street food but I'd like to tell you more about it. This dish is also known as Krapao Khai Dao, it appears in restaurants regardless of class, and it also appeared in convenience store as Bento. And the basil itself is actually just a variant of Stir Fried Vegetable with Meat and there also cursed version of it where the vegetable was excluded. In case you wonder why do I know this much, well, I used to work in a restaurant and I'm a handyman who handle almost everything from a cashier to waiter to advertisement designer, to a chef, and the owner's secretary, and not only I saw Krapao Moo Sap without Krapao (Basil) from the internet but I also received and cooked such order myself. If you want to eat the cursed version, please cook for yourselves because meat is way more expensive than vegetable, in order to cook the same amount of food compare to normal version, it supposed to be more expensive thus it's practically legal robbery.
