In my opinion (I hesitate to call myself a drummer in this company but...) teaching someone to play a 4/4 pattern is one of the best things ever. The look on their faces and their sense of accomplishment is epic. Once you've managed that, you're a drummer. There's no going back. Your life is changed and your head will tick like a metronome ever more.

I have bought one! I never got back in this. Did not want to make embarrassing noises. Now, I can subject just myself to them! The last time I played was at eleven years old way back in 1971.
