On the heels of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week Lily shares her heroic story of her battle with anorexia and bulimia.

I have known Lily since she was a little girl, her Mom is one of my dear friends. We spent so much time together when our children were young.

Lily’s grandfather was one of my biggest cheerleaders when I got sober, he helped me to believe that I had nothing to be ashamed of, little did we know that his adorable granddaughter would have a battle of her own with food.

Shame is around food addiction is so hard, as Lily said, “you can’t just stop eating…”
