1.Started my channel late 2021 made like 15 videos. 2020 I made like 120 videos. All in all, my total watchtime from a year plus of making vids and posting consistently every 2 or 3 days was 19k total views and 700 hours of lifetime watch hours. I almost gave up multiple times, but I always asked myself what would I do if I stopped YouTube, you're just putting your opinion out there. That's what kept me going. February 2023 I had a video do 300k views as at the time of commenting and another about to do 100k. 2 videos gave me watchtime and subs I didn't have in a year plus of making content. Do not give up. You never know when your big break will come. Find a content you enjoy making and do it. 5 cheersK

Rule No.3 Don't let your mood fall cuz no one is viewing remember that you only just started the video
Rule No.4 Make sure your creative so you can imagine thumbnail and video that you want
And last Rule No.5 Make sure that your dream is to become a youtuber cuz without a dream there won't be any success cuz you will easily give up

Recently my channel has been dropping on views a lot, and I decided to check this video out to see what I was doing wrong. And you actually pointed out a few things I do which are big mistakes.. taking 5 or less minutes to make a title and a thumbnail, because you get so tired from recording and editing a video (for hours usually), and spend little time on what is important!
Another, the intro to the video!
From now on, whenever I upload, I will make sure I use your tips!! Thank you!

I really enjoyed watching this. I was making the channel intro mistake but stopped it a while back but now i have also learnt that i should keep the introduction of myself till later and focus on why they clicked for the first 30 seconds. So many amazing pointers. I will start working on my thumbnails and title more, and spending quality time on it. Thank you.

What I've learned is I feel there is some secret formula to these titles and thumbnails...Big text (less than 3 words), something eye-catching to go along with the text that makes you wonder... certain thumbnails I post just naturally do better, and I've learned to create almost all of my thumbnails in that similar way and now most of the videos do pretty well. There's definitely a trick to thumbnails that is learned with time!

You hit the nail on the head for me lol. I don’t take any time on my thumbnail or titles. I did just start and only have 3 videos on my channel. For the future though, I’m going to spend more time on impression and click!

Honestly there are so many advice channels on how to grow your channel. Sometimes it's all so conflicting. I don't even know anymore. I feel like I should stop worrying about channel growth and just keep uploading things I am interested in or passionate about and whatever happens, happens

Great advice. I now make all thumbnails before I write the video. If I can't make a great thumbnail I don't make the video (as I have hundreds of topics to choose from).

oooo I get told to plan the thumbnail and title first but my content is gaming so I don't actually know what I am going to be encountering in the game until it is happening. I barely script as my videos are quite casual and fun so I don't know how I would plan the game? I am assuming this third point might not apply to me, but I wonder how it might? Maybe going into a game with a purpose or goal in mind. 🤔🤔 thanks for the advice, I am understanding more and more that thumbnails and titles are essential and should work in tandem with one another! 🤩

Thank you so much! I’m a DJ starting to upload mixes and it’s been so disheartening so far barely getting any views after spending DAYS making a great mix with great visuals and thumbnail. The mindset shift required to do things in the correct order can be tough. But believe me it is SO WORTH IT!!! Listen to Rob. Don't turn on your camera until you have your title and thumbnail ready. THIS IS THE WAY!

I've posted long term videos and got around 100 views up to 300, took a long break and now youtube shorts are the view catcher. I've been posting youtube shorts, and still don't get a lot of views, some being less than my long term videos. Hopefully we can all make it, and get through thisss.
