Full disclosure. I have PTSD, and P!nkās music has literally helped me through some of my really dark times, and this song is no different. I completely understand the seriousness of trauma, but this song makes me think of those few bright(er) spots that have happened since my trauma. Itās like sheās saying that Iām not completely aloneā¦rock bottom really hurts, but itās okay to hurt because I have been through some stuff. I needed to hear that, and I need to be reminded of that. Yes, I am not perfect, but I am deserving love, just like anyone else.
