BARE is my favorite CD by ANNIE LENNOX. I lost my difficult love. My life was taking on different meaning, musically and I even was writing the same songs and even dressed like ANNIE LENNOX, in fact had an audition in which Dave Stewart was going to play lead to songs,BUT I didn't show.
THIS CD is sublime for me. Here was my favorite singer reading my life all too well...only ANNIE LENNOX. Depression is a good muse for me too.

As a singer, songwriter & guitar player myself vey rarely did i listen to other artists. But the first MTV video i saw was ANNIE LENNOX THAT with unique androgynous look, those lyrics, and THAT VOICE THAT BLEW ME AWAY!
I absolutely love her ! The only artists I listened to were JONI MITCHELL & my man Neil Young.
But for me , ANNIE LENNOX IS the
the ONE. This particular album became my favorite because i was going through a major experience & this album walked me through the abundant pain. MUSIC IS MY
WORLD. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way about ANNIE LENNOX. SHE IS MY DIVA.
WHAT was strange is that we have similar styles. Dave Stewart,heard my demo and probably i would've had the honor of meeting her. I understand now why he wanted to play lead & the audition was set up for me, but i smoked a j and arrived 20 mins or more late,cause I got wrong train and got lost. Things were moving too fast & i wasn't used to a manager. I'd turned down Columbia Records twice.
I enjoyed playing in THE Village,private artistic venues, on the job training,BUT ANNIE LENNOX IS MY MENTOR. I loved playing in MTA subway System.

I still find it hard to listen to "Honestly", it reminds me of my greatest lover, I miss him as much as I miss my parents. Makes me cry everytime.
