Regarding the last video: It's painful to deal with our past and at times we might have to deal with it our whole lives, but if we stay at the middle point where we're always confronting it, we will never actually accept what has happened to it and learn from it. Just like the victim of a burglary is very likely not going to cry for the rest of their life over the 50€ that were stolen from them, we cannot stay lamenting about what has happened to us forever because we'll end up being an eternal victim, never taking control of our emotions and accepting what has happened to us.

It's a pity that suffering is not distributed equally. Some people get a hell of a lot more suffering than others (due to lifelong bad health for example).

When suffering comes knocking at your door, let it in, sit with it, tend to it and be a good host. Don’t try to chase it away or run away from it, it would catch hold of you one way or another. Make friends with it and you won’t be taken aback when it visits you next :)

My mom just got cancer again. Let's see how this suffering fits into my new relational home. Be well, love yourselves and others, all. ❤

it's amazing how you always push some button that makes me feel fond of life but also sad. Your videos take me back to the feeling I got when I first questioned the point of me living. Much appreciation to you

Life sucks & then you die, may as well make the most of it and fight back when you can. I’m going to enjoy it, no one can stop me

I used to find the Buddha's teaching that life is suffering weird and pessimistic. But as I grow older... Well I think the Buddha is just being realistic haha. What I love about Buddhism is that the Buddha doesn't just stop at "Life is Suffering". But he taught us how to navigate ourselves through life too. The more I learn about Buddhism, the more I understand why and how. But yeah mostly it revolves around being aware and mindful of our own thoughts and consciousness. Great video once again Sisyphus <3

We cannot control the random nature of our experience, but what we can control is how we react to it.

5:23 my philosophy is that, life can be always more painful in all manners of ways and you gotta make peace with the pain you already feel and be grateful it's not worse.
