My husband, a nice guy who changed his mind, just told me last night that our marriage is done. Out of the blue and without a warning. And I've never cried hard in my life until I actually listened to lyrics of this song(after playing it on repeat for a month now). I remember back in March when I met Maisie in a small cafe in Denver before her concert, I remember the moment I looked into her eyes in person and somehow that memory makes this video hit different. I think we seem to put amazing people like her on a sort of pedestal and forget that their human and they hurt just as much as we do they just know how to express it in a much different way. I would love this song even if I hadnāt met her but that experience really made me feel this song even deeper. Iām not trying to rub it in anyoneās face that I met her I just want everyone to always remember there is a real person behind every one of her songs and to never take it for granted that she shares songs like these with us.
