Cuisine Royale was so fun to play especially in 2020-21. I remember me and my party playing hard and learning all the goofy mechanics. We even made it to "diamond" rank. It's sad to see it fade

Cuisine Royale was created as a joke. It wasn't really intended to still exist. But it kinda blew up during COVID and they completely revamped everything. It's a genuinely good game

Dive into the history, you'll like it. It started as an April fools joke that got accepted so well it was made permanent. First version had gun specific magazines, partial reloads etc and you really had to watch you ammo. It was a direct shot at pubg, having goofy powerups and kitchen appliances as armour to make fun of the genre. It did work incredible and the earlier versions were pretty balanced.
The abilities got added later as a way to introduce microtransactions because the game was dying unfortunately.

I would like to see a version of this but with the FAST squad doing super weird/bad/underrated party games we've never heard of. But definitely more of this style in general, it was pretty cool.
