Love Blackout. This vid made me want to go back and play. I miss the ability and to pick up and switch out attachments.

I enjoyed it so much. Think it was a better solo experience than Warzone, if you wanted something simpler at least. More difficult I think, less variables w/ killstreaks and random events, was more about positioning and end game decision making.
Obviously revive and loadout was great for Warzone. And Contracts were necessary to get more money for buy stations. Warzone is excellent to play with Friends.
Lack of Loadouts & Buy Stations in BlackOut meant more time hunting and less time worrying about money and contracts. AND THE MAP oh my goodness I loved it.

This game is OP especially for its time. Alcatraz island too. Miss this game so much. I remember the talk and hype about warzone coming out. When warzone hit it was just different. It felt like a step back to me. You couldnt swim you couldnt build your gun in map the cars were lame and you have to get a loadout crate to get the gun you want... I went back to blackout for some time until everyone eventually switched over to warzone.

one of my favorite things about Blackout was getting up on this really tall skyscraper that gave you an almost perfect unobstructed view of a pretty sizeable chunk of the map and just reach out and touch everyone i saw with a high powered rifle.

I absolutely LOVED blackout!! I really hope they remaster that map someday soon. Any time I’ve tried to play recently it’s been tough getting into a match.
