The way the song features her âtalkingâ the lyrics helps to convey the message of how she was trying to mentally talk herself out of seeing her ex. I love how in this video itâs like the universe is trying to stop her from going to her exâs house, like with the rain and the car breaking down, like trying to give her a reason not to go but she still goes anyway. Really emphasises this bad feeling in your gut when youâre doing something you know youâre not supposed to do. Really clever and very well ties in with the album theme! đ
