This album is just so so good. I forget about it and then remember it again, through the years. When I first heard it as a teenager, anxious to travel and see the world, i heard in it the wanderlust and devil-may-care, the spirit of adventure. Later, I heard the pain of broken hopes and dreams. Now, it brings me sweet nostalgia of my younger, wilder days, as well as the peace of resolution and maturity. Every time, this music and poetry resonates on a different level, strikes my heart's strings, and never gets old.

Gli anni più belli della mia vita, fine anni 90 e primi anni del 2000, in giro per il Messico con uno zainetto mezzo vuoto , un sole in fronte e un cuore pieno, gente meravigliosa un mondo così bello, e poi ancora america del sur....mano negra e manu Chao sempre e sempre, ho consumato le cassette..ancora dopo anni vengono gli occhi lucidi a ricordare un mondo non senza problemi ma più sano, tempi che non torneranno più purtroppo, grazie manu per la tua musica resterá per sempre una ricordo così unico e raro.
