my father was from Pittsburgh Pa I moved there from Mississippi after paw paw died we used to sneak out past my bedtime when mamma wasn't round to stop us and go play around the old mills and ride around in his old dodge charger and sit on the banks of the mon. I grew up and daddy started smokin stuff he shouldn't. parents break up and I go back to Mississippi with mamma. Lost my father to alcoholism this year - listening to Zach Bryan's music gives me comfort and this song reminds me of my dad a lot. A lot of Zach's songs have helped me deal with the loss of a parent and the grief that comes.
