Being trapped in a recording studio with Tommy Lee and Nikki six sounds like a kind of hell only mick mars could fathom

I never viewed it as grunge or them trying to be grunge, it was just the natural evolution of their sound. it started with feelgood, then primal scream, then add corabi & a 2nd guitar. just a great hard rock album.

To sum things up, Vince Neil left Motley Crue, John Corabi joined Motley Crue, and Motley Crue made Motley Crue, a Motley Crue album that sounded nothing like Motley Crue.

Love love love Hooligan’s Holiday. It’s my favorite Crue song. I wish they’d had John Corabi or Dead Daises on the final tour open for them, then he could join them on stage for that song.

It’s just disappointing that Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx totally act like this album has never existed to this day. I think one of the reasons I personally love this album is because it’s arguably their heaviest album and most raw album musically but lyrically 💯 Highly recommend reading John Corabi’s book. Totally outstanding and fascinating from start to finish.

I saw the “Corabi Motley Crue” at woodlands pavilion in Houston the summer of 94, and was an awesome show

I was 17 at this time and a huge Crue fan, and my friends would mess with me saying dude the 80s are done. When this album came out i Fn loved it! It was heavy, the drums sounded so good. Smoke the sky just rocked!

Great summary of this era of Motley Crue. There were quite a few good Hard Rock albums released in 1994 like this one, Cinderella's "Still Climbing" and Tesla's "Bust a Nut". However MTV and record companies were busy chasing the Grunge trend and didn't give these albums the time of their day. It wasn't even like "hey Hard Rock can co-exist with Alternative" , it was like "We tell you what's cool and you must consume Grunge now"... Anyway thanks to Streamig we can now check all these albums and form our own opinions.

I love to see a video about Fear Factory. The history of the band, the breakup, Dino coming back, Burton leaving, getting Milo. I think they would make an interesting topic for a future video 🤘

John Corabi was very underrated. If Motley Crue started with him as a singer, I think they still would have made it big. I don't believe Vince had much credit in writing. I think he was just the singer. So what else did he contribute? Mick's riffs were still there and the songs would still be written the same. This Corabi album was awesome. People just didn't give it the chance it deserved. It will go down with Chinese Democracy. Great songs, no love. But the music is still out there for me and other fans to listen to so we don't need other people to approve. They are the one's missing out! If you don't know this album, give it a listen. It's really good!

Nikki Sixx: "My standard for writing lyrics is so high!" (10 seconds later) Also Nikki Sixx: "Usually I write a set of lyrics in about an hour."

That Corabi album is their Best album. Micks playing on that was next level and amazing! Tommy played his ass off and the added percussion playing added to his drumming legacy. Nikki actually played some great bass and wrote some of his best lyrics. Corabi was amazing!
