A few years back i was stuck in my home town in GA, ended up losing where I was staying, the girl I was seeing and my job in the span of two days. Ended up getting a pack on craigslist and went off to hitchhike to CO. Had a friend drop me off on the side of the road out in the boonies and I started my long walk. After the first bend this song came on my head phones and I remember just crying my eyes out, feeling the weight of those past years slide off of me and all the potential of a new adventure in front of me. This song always hits me hard.

I only know about this song because I had a gay friend in NY who sent me a bunch of CDs once and this album (which is fantastic by the way) was one of them. I love how the inspiration for this song was just that the lead singer was tired of writing depressing songs and wanted to write a happy one for a change of pace.
