As I lay on my bed and close my eyes all the stress from these hard worked out days I finally am at peace for sometime and my brain can stop pacing between due dates and projects, my limbs can rest from the movements through your these tedious days and are able to rest and recover, my eyes gently close and u thank them for the many sights I’m able to see everyday and the bright lights it has to endure everyday now rest peacefully, my hair flows against my pillow and is also able to rest from the amount of time I tug it and braid it for it now to lay freely on my pillow, I thank my ears for the wonderful noises of nature I hear and thank them and I thank them for dealing with the very loud noises and I thank the bed I’m on that comforts me to sleep and to my pillow which has held my many tears from the burnout and how hard life gets I thank my pillow for being my support throughout the night whether it being supporting my neck or the lack of someone right next to me and I hug it to sleep and pretend someone’s there, I thank my blankets for giving me warmth and comfort when nights are cold and lonely I wrap myself in a fluffy blanket and will myself to sleep. I thank my body and the things I use to help me come to this state of mind and I wish I could thank it all for everything it’s done So thank you my mind, my body, and my room
