This song reminds me when I was younger and life was so simple. Makeing mud pies outside, drawing in dollar store coloring books, getting boxâs in the mail randomly from my grandparents pact full of crayons and silly puddy, and going to bed after playing with my toys with my best friend, my sister. Everything made me happy. There were no worries. I didnât care what anyone thought of me. Didnât realize I was growing up. Didnât realize my parents were getting older. Just inner and outer peace. I reallyâŚreally miss that. I think the worse part about all the good times is that I can never go back to them.

I'm goin' down to the railway station, gonna get a ticket to ride
Find a big, fat lady with two or three kids and sit down by her side
Ride 'til the sun comes up and down around me 'bout two or three times
Smokin' cigarettes in the last seat
Tryin' to hide my sorrow from the people I meet
And get along with it all
Go down where the people say "y'all"
Sing a song with a friend
Change the shape that I'm in,
And get back in the game,
And start playin' again
I'd like to stay but I might have to go to start over again
Might go back down to Texas, or might go to somewhere that I've never been
And get up in the mornin' and go out at night
And I won't have to go home
Get used to bein' alone
Change the words to this song
Start singin' again
I'm tired of runnin' round lookinâ for answers to questions that I already know
I could build me a castle of memories just to have somewhere to go
Count the days and the nights that it takes to get back in the saddle again
Feed the pigeons some clay
Turn the night into day
Start talkin' again, when I know what to say

That's life...I mean that's how I see it...the music going soft but also kinda joyful but also calm and it just makes you love life...and then the lyrics, they're like not even that special but the whole "give yourself time and start again" idea is just so pretty... I love this song (and I mean his version) i love how it just came in my life at the time I needed it and that I'm able to find that "life is beautiful" in it and it gives me hope again every time I hear it...
