Asteroid City is so complex because of the two stories written over one another. The play Asteroid City and the writing and the performing of the play. Both are two different stories and to get it you have to watch it twice to follow each one through.

I enjoyed the film. Has me still thinking about it, which I canāt say about most films Iāve seen recently. Wesās films(if you like his style which you already know if you do or donāt) are always a treat. If youāve never seen one of his movies Iām not sure this is the best introduction as it felt very much like a reflection on his body of work.
